North Carolina CNA Exam Test Questions

In North Carolina, every Certified Nurse Aide has to be enlisted in the N.C. Nurse Aide I Registry. The list includes Nurse Aides II, LPNs and RNs. Training is not compulsory but it is advised to take training courses before trying the certification evaluation exam. The training facility has to be state-approved. Some students can perform CNA duties for a maximum of four months before being listed in the registry. However, the decision is up to the training facilities’ management. It should also be noted that if this happens, the training program has the duty of answering and giving North Carolina CNA exam test questions. A student can go to skilled-care facilities only.

To be a nurse Aide I, an aspirant should pass a state-approved Nurse aide training and pass the competency training that they provide. The North Carolina CNA exam test questions are to be given out and students must pass it accordingly. Another option is to pass the state-approved nurse aide competency evaluation exam. For CNAs in other states planning to work in North Carolina, they have to do the same process as if they are just starting out. The reason for this is that NC has no reciprocity clause.

A student has to complete at least 75 hours of training in training facilities including nursing homes, community colleges, hospitals, private companies and home care agencies. After the course you can take the competency exam from Pearson VUE, a state-approved source of competency evaluations. Pearson VUE teams up with the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Service (NACES) in administering and scheduling examinations. They are also responsible for the North Carolina CNA exam test questions and its results. Aspirants can contact them by calling NACES at 1-888-282-6904 or by visiting their website.

If a candidate failed to pass the competency exam, he or she can take another one. In this regard, the candidate must take the North Carolina CNA exam test questions seriously and pass the exam. If an aspiring CNA failed the exam for three consecutive exams, it is mandated to retake the training. If the candidate passed the exam, he or she must contact the N.C. Nurse Aide I Registry in Raleigh and file an application to have them recorded.
